Berlin/Indore (d.de) – Federal Labour Minister Hubertus Heil holds talks in Indore with employment ministers from G20 countries on the topics of education and skilled workers. As host, India has made closing the global skills gap the priority issue at the talks. The initial aim is to understand the situation in each G20 country so as to then reach an agreement on qualifications. “Now more than ever we must overcome so many global challenges which can only be dealt with by working together. It is therefore of the utmost importance to share ideas and information, getting to know our partners’ perspectives and collaborating to find solutions,” Heil said before the talks. “In the G20 we are working on improving working conditions around the world and creating social protections for everyone.”
Earlier Heil had held bilateral talks on attracting skilled workers from India to Germany.
